Stop to touch the flowers.
Clients: AmericasMart Atlanta, Pantone Color Institute & Flower Magazine
Challenge: Design a bold, eye-catching feature wall that would stop foot traffic and draw buyers into the In Living Color Vignette Exhibition. The goal was to visually support the collaboration between interior and floral designers as they showcased color-driven displays featuring the latest gift and home trends at AmericasMart Atlanta.
Solution: We created a three-dimensional paper floral wall that encouraged interaction and invited buyers to step closer. The tactile, handcrafted installation served as both a visual focal point and an entry experience, seamlessly tying into the exhibition’s theme of color-driven design.

This feature wall became a prominent entry point to the exhibit. After sourcing paper flowers and flat leaves from Balushka, my team and I hand-curled and folded each leaf to create a fuller, more dimensional look. Installation took about two hours, using a combination of nails and tape to bring the piece to life.
During the launch party, the wall proved irresistible — attendees were frequently drawn in, often seen interacting with the flowers and snapping photos.
